Alexander Bauer, E-Organ, Organ, Keyboards, PianoAlexander Ludwig Bauer was born in Munich in 1993. 2003 he entered the organ class of Prof. Hannfried Lucke as a junior student at the University of Mozarteum Salzburg. He received multiple awards in organ competitions, for example two times a first prize in the German competition „Jugend musiziert“ in 2006 and 2009, a first prize in the „Organ competition for young organists Heidelberg“ in 2010 and a second prize in the international „Quimby competition for young Organists“ in London. In addition, he received a special price from the german foundation „Stiftung Deutsches Musikleben“ in 2006 and a three-year scholarship from the Jürgen Ponto Foundation. Since 2012 he is stuyding composition with Prof. Christian Ofenbauer and Achim Bornhöft at the University of Mozarteum Salzburg and still continues organ studies with Hannfried Lucke. Since 2017, he is working as assistant in the Electronic Studio of the University Mozarteum Salzburg (SEM). As a composer, he is active in the fields of instrumental and electroacoustic music. His music was performed at the Biennale Salzburg, as a part of the „Young Directors Project 2014“ at the Salzburg Festival, at the ZKM Karlsruhe, The „Inter- Festival“ in Glasgow, the „stART-Festival“ and the „Dialoge“ festival in Salzburg.
