Valerie Fritz, CelloThe Austrian cellist Valerie Fritz combines her diverse interests in her own concert programmes and new performance formats. Through her freelance work in various orchestras and ensembles, she is equally in demand in the classical and contemporary music scene. As a soloist, she has performed at various festivals in Europe including the TRANSIENT Impulsfestival, the Schumannfest at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf and the Mascarade Festivalino in Venice. Valerie Fritz is a prizewinner of the Berlin Prize for Young Artists 2021 and the Mainardi Cello Competition. As director of the International Society for Contemporary Music - Tyrol Section, she curates the concert series noiz//elektrorauschen, a series of events for electroacoustic music in Innsbruck. Valerie Fritz is currently studying at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Clemens Hagen. |
